January Lockdown Update

First and foremost, can I take the opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year. I hope you had a good break and are keeping well.

Following the Government’s announcement of further restrictions throughout England last night, I wanted to advise you of our plans during the lockdown. Whilst the new restrictions are directly related to England, similar rules apply across the whole of the U.K. and Ireland.

Given how busy trade has been in recent months and following the Government guidelines we wish to assure you that Cormar will continue to manufacture and deliver to you as normal.

We are aware that business has overflowed from the Autumn into the New Year, with fittings already planned. Therefore, going forward we believe the majority of retailers will wish to continue to accept deliveries. Equally part of our business is servicing the house-building sector, which remains open. However, if you do wish to stop us delivering to you or defer any current orders, would you please email us at info@cormarcarpets.co.uk and we will update your account records accordingly.

As an alternative and possibly a more convenient option to store delivery, can we suggest you consider using our Collection Centre network which is available to view by clicking here.

Our trade portal is also available 24/7 to check stock, place orders and provide information on our products, services and any further supply updates.

Obviously, the current escalation of COVID is a great concern for us all. As such at Cormar, we have already taking precautions to avoid the spread of the virus at our mills and within our distribution network. Over the coming weeks and months, extra vigilance will be maintained.
